St Kilda v Footscray AFL Round 22, 1985.... The "boggy rhymes with doggies" final quarter comeback.

Watch on YouTube:  St Kilda v Footscray. Round 22 1985. Final Quarter. Sat 31-Aug-1985, 2:10 PM, Att: 14,236, Venue:   Moorabbin Oval Three Quarter Time Scoreboard:  St Kilda FC:  5. 7. 37 Footscray:  7. 16. 58 St Kilda FC had never gone through a season without being credited with a win at Moorabbin.   In the Final Round in 1985, the Saints hadn't been credited with one yet, and trailed by 21 points against Footscray at 3 Quarter Time. Footscray were in the Top 2.

St Kilda Football Club Premiers 1991.

St Kilda Saints FC: Premiers 1991 Officially. The season began well. Three really 13 - 9 seasons in a row in 87 (including a reserves Premiership), 88, & 89, followed by a mildly exciting 1990 season, didn't yield actually getting to participate in Finals. Match fixing kept The Saints out, check the fake standing for details. There were the league's usual "grip on reality problems" in the early rounds. St Kilda FC won the first 4 in a row. However, the score was wrong by 30 points yet again at Kardinia Park (like every year since 1964 except when it was wrong by more), resulting in a 4 point triumph turning into a pretend 26 point win by the hamming it up with scary catty face Geelong FC. Repulsive.  In Round 4, a classic appeared to unfold at Moorabbin versus Collingwood. However, Robert Harvey ran in and slotted a goal to put The Saints in front very late in the game. The initial cheers quickly changed to an "oh no, the umpires going to pay it a point...

Reserves Premierships in the AFL Reserves 1919 to 1999. The Junior Premiership 1957, and club crest inspiration from 1876.

Reserves, Under 19's, and the "Elusive" 1st Ever Reserves Premiership Cup. St Kilda FC qualified for its first ever Reserves Grand Final in 1933, listed as a 1 point loss to the Demons. Some thought it was more than suspicious. Back to Back: 1942-43 The Saints broke through for two consecutive Reserves Premierships in 1942 & 43, during World War 2. Both won against Fitzroy by 31 and 26 points respectively. Fitzroy went on to win the Premiership & Reserves Premiership in 1944, before never winning anything ever again under that name at the highest level before their panto-mime, fully pre-negotiated, extortion plot, voluntary "faux forced" merger with Brisbane Bears in 1996.  St Kilda FC's two consecutive flags were exactly that, there was no trophy at the time. Under 19's: The One & Only Premiership 1957 The Saints 1st (and only) Under 19's Premiership was won in 1957 in gruesome circumstances at Punt Road, in front of some lazy barely int...

Elimination Finals and St Kilda FC: The Saints Were In, Should Have Been, or Should Have Gotten Better.

Elimination Finals St Kilda FC Qualified For, But Didn't Play In: St Kilda FC played in the first 2 League Finals labelled Elimination Finals in 1972 and 1973. The Saints won both against the same opponent on both occasions, Essendon: 1972 ~ 124 - 71 (on the way to what is now officially a Premiership) 1973 ~ 158 - 91. The latter was one of the last two Finals games before St Kilda FC started getting violated in more distressingly violent ways, particularly from orbit, for no valid reason (a lunatic opposition teams "free choice" after being offered access to something "up there in the sky" to cheat with in a deal with terrorists). Based on corrected standings (match fixing) - St Kilda FC should have played in the first 4 Elimination Finals in a Row.  However, The Saints results were adversely affected by other more violent and painful forms of cheating, and should have been better. To say St Kilda FC should have played in the first 4 Elimination Finals sounds a...

St Kilda FC really won 18 Ansett Australia Cup Pre-Season Cup Matches in a Row R16 1995 to R1 2000. Including an Official 4 Ansett Cup Premierships in a Row.

Image
The Saints Own the Longest Winning Run in Pre-Season Cup History: St Kilda FC really went on the longest undefeated run in the Pre-Season Cup (1988 to 2013 - 26 seasons) in League History. It included The Saints 4 Ansett Australia Cup Premierships in a row officially in 1996, 1997, 1998 & 1999 (that should have been 5 in a row '95-'99). St Kilda FC won 18 Ansett Cup Games in a row, including disqualifications that were games St Kilda won anyway (they pretended The Saints lost) in '97, '98, & '99. The Round 2 loss (?) in 2000 was St Kilda FC's first loss in the Pre-Season Cup since the Round of 16 in 1994.  The Semi Finals in 1995, 1997, & 1999 were all St Kilda FC wins (amongst 5 SF wins in a row) , but all 3 were fixed matches (20, 20, & 30 points respectively) St Kilda was publicised as losing.  The '97 and '99 Semi Finals were overturned by doping authorities in 2022-23 when the teams who played in the Grand Finals in '97 & ...

Starting With the Big One: Geelong FC ("The Puss") at Kardinia Park

Image
Since: 1964 To Be Blunt: The scores have been corruptly wrong against St Kilda FC by a minimum of 30 points (usually 30 points) versus Geelong FC at Kardinia Park every game The Saints have played there since 1964. Motive: They've been attempting to force people to suspect St Kilda FC was involved in attempting to assassinate JFK in Dallas, November 1963. Connection?: ST.K compared to JFK? No actual logical reasons, it is that weak. Conclusion: St Kilda FC had nothing to do with it (the assassination attempt). They still pretend we have to look suspicious, and others have to go "mmmmm, maybe St Kilda FC had something to do with that" every year we play there and the scores are corruptly incorrect. Reality of the Situation: St Kilda FC has won more games against Geelong FC at Kardinia Park than they have against St Kilda FC. Even allowing for the fact that St Kilda FC lost 15 of its first 19 at the Venue.  Corrected Record as of April 2024: St Kilda 36 - Geelong 27 (as acc...
